Out Like a Lamb

How exciting - wearing a spring coat for the first time this season!

While we keep getting walloped with snow (a fresh 20 cm Saturday night), at least the days are now warm enough for it to melt it off the road. The mornings are generally too cold for a spring coat, but if you're going out in the afternoon, you can get away with it.

I've never had prescription sunglasses before, and they are SO great. No more blinding glare while driving on the highway!

Little Penguins

Sometimes when I need a pick-me-up, I'll watch a live penguin webcam. It's impossible not to smile! Imagine my disappointment when at the Vancouver Aquarium, the penguins were standing together in a little clump... doing absolutely nothing. Maybe they were protesting the weather. The little guys in my photo aren't real.

The Striped Blazer

 I cannot believe I forgot to take a photo of my hair. It's in a sock bun.... which may seem like no big deal to you, but given the amount of time it's taken me to actually achieve one that's appropriate to wear in public, it's a major deal to me. For those of you who are sock bun challenged, go out and get a mesh donut instead of using a real sock.
