Burberry Lust

Once again, I'm linking with longdistanceloving for a post on items we're lusting for. I could have made an outfit board, but I decided to focus on my biggest want and besides that, I don't know how to make an outfit board  

I don't profess to be a pro at this blogging thing yet! Note to self: Learn how to make outfit boards.

If there's one item of clothing I'd run out and buy if I could justify it....

Meet the Burberry trench.

 

How classic and amazing is this coat? I love the color (light... but not so light it'd get dingy), the length (not so long as to overwhelm my stubby legs), and the sheen of the fabric (gabardine.... which was invented by Mr. Burberry himself).

 

The hardware on the cuffs is so fun, and the lining is the famous plaid pattern.

 

I can't write anymore as I fear I'll talk myself into buying it.
